Kings Park Equestrian Club encourages our young equestrians to learn horsemanship skills in a safe and fun environment.
What is Young Equestrians?
Young Equestrians follows the basic safety and learning guidelines of Pony Club in a flexible platform incorporating ridden and theory lessons in a fun and interactive style.
We aim to provide young riders with consistent, regular coaches who can be in tune with each childs particular needs and help them on their Equestrian journey.
The format will be:
Private or group lessons in the morning.
Mini Competition in the afternoon
Who can join?
Young Equestrians is open to all junior members of the Kings Park Equestrian Club.
Bookings are essential and will be available through Nominate.
Where is it held?
Young Equestrians is held on the grounds of the Kings Park Equestrian Centre, 346 Shipmans Road, Glenreagh, NSW.
When is it held?
We know Equestrian Kids have a busy schedule, so we have made Young Equestrians on a Saturday, leaving your Sundays free for Pony Club and other Equestrian Activities!
Keep an eye on our events calendar for Fun Days, School Holiday Activities, Gymkhana Prep and so much more!
Do I need my own pony?
Young Equestrians focuses on children who have their own pony.
Can I join Young Equestrians and Pony Club as well?
Yes of course you can! Young Equestrians follows Pony Club riding principles so you won't be getting "mixed messages" with your training. Our format is designed to compliment Pony Club providing supplementary training and competition experience. We can even help you wash and plait on Saturday afternoon ready for your Pony Club Gymkhana the next day! (Grooming services available, see Livery services for fees)
Can Adults come to Young Equestrians?
Yes they can! Our focus is on junior club members, however, adults can join in the fun if they want to. If lesson availability is limited preference will be given to junior members.
